We Are Stardust

Where did we come from? how are we here? Surely life is nothing more or less than a miracle…

Science explains the beginning of the universe as a big-bang. How many different forms of religion broadly suggest a creator of all things…

I've always wrestled with the concept of space/ infinity. It's an idea which is thrown around casually. I believe that none of us could understand the reality of infinity, as it is impossible to have an embodied experience of it.

This work reflects (literally) the concept of infinity. As the work is experienced in reality, the reflective particles are activated by our own movement around the piece - demonstrating how infinity exists only within the limitations of our minds. We are living manifestations of miracles, we are the unknown, we are science just as much as we are god, and ultimately we are the art.

This is ‘We Are Stardust’.

I'd like to be completely transparent - absolutely no use of any form of Ai was used in the creation of this work, or the idea/ story behind its inspiration. I believe true art will only ever be made entirely by human hands and minds
