A sense of being protected.
Calm, even when everything else is moving.
This piece came from time spent surrounded by mountains in Spain - a landscape that felt both grounding and constant.
Over two months, I kept returning to the same view. Watching how it changed throughout the day - light shifting from soft pinks to deeper tones, weather moving through, everything in motion but never unsettled.
There was movement everywhere. Wind passing through the valley, energy moving across the landscape.
But where we were, it felt still. Protected. I observed everything without being caught in it.
The work reflects that same feeling.
Layers moving and settling, held within something larger.
A reminder that calm doesn’t always come from removing the chaos.
Sometimes it comes from being held within it.
From knowing you’re not exposed to everything around you.
That you’re supported, even when things feel uncertain.
